A fun raised crawfish motif is displayed on the lid. Although there is a flat griddle on the underside of the lid, the crawfish does not allow it to lay flat on a stovetop. This item should be cured before use. Nonstick when seasoned. Cast iron cookware makes for superior heat retention and even heating of foods. Heavy-Duty and durable, designed to last for years. Hand wash with stiff brush and hot water. Cooking with cast iron provides nutritional iron intake.

Awesome Price for a Great Product
We picked up one of these from a guy who closed his restaurant. We experimented with it to prepare meatloaf and pork tenderloin as we are currently preparing to open a restaurant in Houston. The quality of the resulting food was so incredible, we immediately went to the internet and found us two more. This casserole pot is easy to treat (otherwise known as seasoning or curing) with cooking oil or shortening in a 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes. When using it to cook....WOW....the food comes out AWESOME with little or no effort once in the oven. We now have three for our restaurant. We love it and hope business does so well that we can order many, many more.
