Rubbish

Fisher Paykel Customer Care is a joke. Have issue withgrill rubber bumpers burned off and or falling off. Customer Care does not acknowledge they ahve a problem and thier solution is to pruchase a pack of 12 bumpers for $28. I suggest you avoid fisher Paykel based on their lack of adequate customer service which is rubbish

tiny part cannot be gotten from company

The tiny rubber feet supporting the grill were poorly designed and rotted in less than 4 years. But the tragedy is that DCS no longer stocks the part. Absurd, after what we paid. I'm trying to find them on line. The person on the phone representing the company that I spoke with actually said I should buy a new range grill top because the parts are now brass. The company learned at our expense. awful

Don\'t waste your money!

Don't waste your money here. Have had this cooktop for 5 years as part of a total kitchen makeover and have 1) had to replace all the grates because the rubber feet melted-they are now brass 2)replace the knobs and bezels because they discolored and the lettering came off them 3)have to use a lighter to light 2 of the burners because the pezio electric system will not ignite them 4) cannot use 2 of the 5 burners because the pezio electric ingitor won't stop clicking once the burner is lit!! Very disappointed. Planning on replacing with NON-DCS unit soon.

They force you to pay $32 for a 10-cent piece of plastic

DCS by Fisher & Paykel are USELESS when it comes to, as they call it, "customer care" and obtaining parts, only I would add that they are downright DISHONEST. They are forcing me to pay $32 (x4) for a stainless steel bezel part that I don't need except for the little piece of plastic that snaps into place. A 10-cent piece of plastic for $32. Terry Bushie of DCS in Huntington Beach CA ignored my phone calls once she learned I was looking for some fairness - for three months - and F&P in New Zealand - New Zealand! - they might as well be on the moon. You only get to talk to the robotic "customer care" clerks who only know how to say "sorry, there's nothing I can do." Stay away from DCS by Fisher & Paykel. They are dishonest people working for a dishonest company.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
