Two fry baskets, thermometer, hose, regulator, and stand are included. The Medina River Fish Fryer has a unique flow through heating element which divides the oil chamber into two distinct zones. In the cooking zone, above the heating element, the oil stays at the desired temperature of 325 to 350 degrees allowing you to cook your food faster and avoid oily tasting food. In the lower zone, beneath the heating element, the oil remains much cooler. This unique design allows any debris that falls from the fish or other foods to pass through the hot oil in the frying chamber and into the cooler oil in the lower chamber. As a result, the Medina River Fish Fryer prevents debris from burning or continuously circulating in the upper frying chambers cooking zone keeping the cooking oil fresh longer. It is recommended that the cooking oil be replaced every 25 to 30 uses saving you 70 percent on cooking oil versus traditional bucket fryers where oil should be replaced every 5 to 7 uses.
