Monessen Propane Total System Remote/Receiver (110V) - Hand Held: This Monessen Propane Gas Total System Remote/Receiver can be used with a propane gas Millivolt Safety Pilot Valve for convenient thermostatic on/off lighting, variable flame adjustment, and 3 speed blower control. Features include: Standard thermostat ON/OFF remote control; 3-step flame height adjustment; 3-speed blower control with adjustable automatic ON/OFF delay; Backlit LCD display with temperature, flame on, and battery low indicator; Childproof protection; Soft-touch finish; Thermal-safety shutdown (transmitter); 16 security codes; 110 receiver; and 6 hr. Optional safety shutdown (receiver). Radio frequency allows for multiple security codes----which virtually eliminates interference from other home appliances such as televisions, DVDs and stereos----and each remote will operate at a maximum distance of 30 feet with no interference from objects between the user and the receiver.

Monessen offers a variety of control devices to be added on to any of the remote ready pilot kits. You can match up any control that says Millivolt On/Off in the item name with any pilot kit or log set that says Millivolt On/Off in its item name. The same is true for Hi/Lo Variable Flame. You can not however mix them up. For example, you can not add a Millivolt On/Off remote control to a Hi/Lo Variable Flame remote ready pilot kit or log set or vice versa.
