The fully refractory lined firebox is similar to a kiln, meaning it is able to maintain the interior temperature that is necessary to achieve lower emissions. With a maximum log size of 20 inches, this wood stove will heat 800-3500 square feet. This Napoleon large 2300 wood burning stove is EPA approved with emissions as low as 3. 9 grams per hour and a 86 percent efficiency rating, so you can achieve more heat with substantially less fuel.
