servicable for the price
For a budget priced item, it's very serviceable. The poker, which has been used most, is heavy enough to do the job of pushing a log back into place. We've not used the brush, which seems too narrow or the shovel, as we use the big shop vacuum to take out the ash. Our plan is to convert the fireplace to gas, so we weren't looking for anything we could will to our grandnieces and grandnephews. This might eventually end up outside for the chiminea. Also, our set was missing a nut, so it's not as sturdy as it's supposed to be.

I ordered this product because the broom/brush that I had was stripped and kept slipping. Actually, I ordered two and the same thing happens.

Good quality, small, lightweight set.
I have a relatively small wood burning fireplace and needed something small and not too bulky but practical and functional. It would be good if this set were a little heavier and if the screw-in tips and handles stayed on tighter but a few minutes with a vise or two does an adequate job of tightening them for a good while. Good price and functionality for a small fireplace set.
