The Broan 89000-Series Under Cabinet Hoods have a higher capacity developed specifically for use with today s cooktop grills up to 14,000 BTUs. With 460 CFM, the infinite speed slide controls the quiet 6. 0 sones, dual centrifugal blower while the memory feature that saves last settings. The Standard Heat Sentry detects excessive heat and turns blower to high for enhanced safety. This unit also features two-level 75-watt incandescent lighting protected by polymeric lens, with settings for bright and night-light, bulbs not included. The aluminum grease filters are dishwasher safe. The 89000-Series hood is designed for either vertical or horizontal ducting; and, includes a 3 1/4 by 10 inch damper/adapter.

 | This product performed as advertisedI bought this hood when my over the range microwave stopped working. The exhausted fan on the microwave did not extend far enough over the front stove burners causing most of the oil and grease to accumulate on the cabinet above the microwave. Also, the air intake for the exhaust fan ended up creating a stronger draft and sucked oil and grease inside of the microwave. After cleaning the cabinet I decided to purchase just a range hood. I went online and read great reviews on this product and decided to purchase it. After approximately 6 months of everyday use I can say that I am completely satisfied with the performance of this hood. The hood extends far enough over the front burners so everything is vented out the exhaust. The only thing I would change is the light settings. I think when you turn on the light to the low setting it is too bright. Other than that I would recommend and repurchase this product again. | Great ProductI bought this to replace a similar Broan hood that was installed when the house was built. Original hood was still working excellent (25 years later) but upgraded to stainless appliances and wanted a matching hood. Thanks to Broan for retaining the exact same hood (but with a stronger motor). It matched the old model exactly and was very easy to install. The unit is a very simple and effective design. | This product is extremely attractive and modern looking.We recently remodeled our kitchen which included stainless steel appliances and a semi-rounded stainless sink. The shape of the range hood compliments all of the new stainless items in the kitchen. I get continual compliments from guests because it is so sleek and different. I am thoroughly enjoying it. | This product ia well made, functional and quiet operating.The product uses high quality stainless steel, parts (screens etc) fit very nicely. The fan even on high has a low noise volume while having strong exhaust pull. The product compliments the other brushed stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.
