Have had several...Have had several different bread knives over the years, and this is by far the best. Love the 10 inch length, plenty of surface to cut through huge loaves, as well as tort all types and sizes of cakes for finishing. The scalloped edges, are far superior than the traditional serrations I've used in the past. No more ripping or tearing, the blade just glides through and the results are impressive. truly ultimateThe name says it all. There is no other bread knife like this in the market today. It is longer than the average bread knife making it suitable for anything that requires a serrated edge. Its great for bread, melons, hard squash and anything else with a harder outside and softer interior. The serration pattern allows for a very acute angle so it actually creates less crumbs when cutting even the crustiest of breads. The longer teeth come into contact with your cutting surface and the shorter ones do not keeping the blade sharper longer.
