This is really a really solid smoker!

I bought this smoker a little over a year and half ago. I have decided most of the complaints I read are operator error. I know many will disagree, but I have found everything from ambient air temps to humidity, or even the length of the pellets can effect how consistent this type of smoker runs. The learning curve is steep but worth it. I have gotten extra racks and run this little unit hard for 10 + hours at a time with no issues. I use mine all the time. Wish I would have gotten a bigger one though.

Awesome smoker and great customer service

I got this smoker as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately the door came dented. I called the customer service team at Pittboss and the covered it and I have a new door on the way! This is my first smoker and it's super easy to use. Took it out of the box, did the first time burn off, and started cooking. Great product!

Temp issues do to power source

When I first started this up. I could not get It up to temp. After reading more into the manual. I realized my extension cord was not the right gauge and was too long. I discovered in order to get it to the 350f required for break in, that you need to use wood chips, and you need to bring it up to 225 for 20 minutes before cranking it up.. I plugged it directly into the wall and made sure to do this. I was able to get it to 350 to do the burn off! I think most issues with this smoker resulted from user error and a bad power source or improper extension cord!

My 2nd smoker from BBQ Guys.

I purchased a Pitt Boss Series 3 Electric Smoker and it worked great for a while but Customer Service was very kind and helpful with remedying the problem quickly. I has since received the Red Rock Series 2 gas Smoker. Both were easy to assemble (good instructions) and the Red Rock works great. The gas allows me to take it camping. Holds temperature well once you learn the settings.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight.   • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
