 | Shade Cloth Plastic Stap Grommets improvementOnce we figured out the trick to making the holes not too big, and not too small, everything worked, but ... finding the trick to that (which might not be the best way, hopefully there could be a better way documented than producing a template and using a knife to score an "x" that was just a little smaller than the innermost diameter) was a touch tricky via experimentation. Thankfully we ordered more shade cloth than we needed, so we didn't mess up material that was necessary for the project. | Was This Helpful? |
| Simple and effectivePurchased these to install shade fabric on chain link fence. Simple to apply- even when doubling the fabric as recommended to improve strength. Time will tell how durable they are. | Was This Helpful? |
| Not so hotEvidently there is a learning curve that I just couldn't master in applying these things. It probably didn't help that I was working in 30 degree temps but I couldn't get them to snap shut, the interlocking nubs would bend or break. Ended up using grommets ( which worked well by the way) and lock ties. Overall, NOT impressed with these. | Was This Helpful? |
| Don't use these zip tiesThis product didn't work at all. They were brittle and would break the moment they were tightened. I ended up having to use zip ties from my hardware store.
