One of the beauties of the Traeger pellet grill is the smoky flavor it imparts in everything you cook. When you want more of that flavor, or when you want more food to have that flavor, the smoke shelf adds 360 square inches of smoking surface to your Traeger Texas pellet grill. Made of one piece nickel plated steel, it requires no assembly. This shelf is excellent for people who smoke a lot of jerky, fish, ribs, or sausages. Over 30 inches wide, 11 inches deep, and 7 inches high, this nickel-plated rack provides plenty of space to smoke racks of ribs, or entire fish. It sits on top of your grill grate, but does not subtract any space from your grill, rather adding space because of its elevation. Store it in the grill when not in use, or underneath when not smoking.

| Triples jerky outputFits very well on my Texas Elite 34. This will pretty much triple the amount of jerky you can make at one time. Very well made, heavy duty rack. Easy to slide into Traeger and then can remove with smoked items still on it and bring into the house. This makes it much easier to put jerky, etc. into storage bags. | Was This Helpful? |
| Great rack butI love this thing but it has one major flaw. I'll get to the flaw in a minute. It's very heavy durable and works great on the Texas. Chicken legs or something similar in size is what it's made for not a large rack of ribs. Now the flaw the middle rack is a little tight but that's not the concern. The issue is Traeger should have run the grates at a perpindicular direction from the way they are laid out as sold. When removing ribs or larger items the meat tends to get stuck on the grates and makes it tough to remove it from the middle rack. Especially when it's hot and dripping with meaty goodness. :) If they were laid out front to back you could just slide things right off. Problem solved. | Was This Helpful? |

| I love this smoker rackI bought this because I was needing to do more ribs than normal for a party. I have the Lil Tex Pro nad I could do 3 racks on the regular grate at one time. The hardware store that I got bought this at didn't have the rib rack and this was my only option at the time because I live in a small community in rural America. I love this rack. The only problem I have is that I wish it had just a little more space between the shelves. When trying to load it after you have wrapped the ribs in foil it can get a little tight. Loading it for the 3 hr smoke is no problem. But then. Reloading after wrapping is a little more difficult. But with this rack I can now do 7 racks at one time.
